‘A visit to St Ignatius is one that warms the soul’ -
this is the expression Tom Hardy kindly wrote about St Ignatius during his
launch of The Australian Wine and Food Pictorial Atlas.
St Ignatius offers the customer a unique experience
unlike anywhere else – by providing an insight into the way we conduct
business, and most importantly by opening a window to our family and
our lives.
Through word of mouth we have created a line of
customers always willing to come back and share the experience with their
friends. St Ignatius is a true family business; we enjoy our work, and that
reflects on the premium service we offer our customers.
We are open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. At St Ignatius we place
enphasis on flexibility valuing our customers and their personal restrictions by
offering service outside standard working hours.
Our patio provides a picturesque view
overlooking the Pyrenees Ranges. Indeed, for those visitors who would like to
enjoy a glass of wine or wish to indulge in our ‘Traditional South American
delicacies’ served from our cellar door kitchen, the native garden complements
the seting exquisitely.
Our specialty is the ‘Traditional Argentine Grill’,
which has received reviews such as ‘food-eaters heaven’, ‘an experience not
only abundant in variety but also quality’.
This is a unique event not to be
missed. The grill is cooked on-site and served on a regular basis by
previously arranged bookings.
Why bookings? We encourage bookings to make the best of your trip by providing fresh food and to create the real atmosphere of the event. We
can host and cater for wine clubs, special occasions parties and for those
meat-lovers looking for a fine grilled Argentine style cooked meat. Our service
ranges from platters style to a formal 4 course menu with matching wines.
Our acclimatised cellar
door room can accommodate 60 people. Whilst larger group functions up to 150
guests can be hosted.
